Crowson in 1978,

Group
has enjoyed sustained growth, making it one of the world's leading producers,
designers and suppliers of home furnishings.
The group
includes the internationally acclaimed fabric brands of Crowson,
Monkwell, and The
Design Archives.
The Crowson
group
has subsidiaries in Northern
Europe,
Australia
& New
Zealand
and a distribution network exporting to over 50 countries. It
was in recognition of the company's outstanding performance worldwide
that Crowson
Fabrics
was awarded the prestigious Queen's Award
for Export Achievement in 1994 & 1995.
In 2000
the group
expanded, acquiring Dovedale fabrics;
this was followed in 2001 by the acquisition of Monkwell
Fabrics and The
Design Archives.
In January
2002, the Group's
flagship showroom
was opened in London's
King's
Road,
the heartland of the capital's most prestigious furnishings outlets.

The company's
120,000 sq ft headquarters,
including the sales, marketing and administrative departments, the design
studio and warehousing facilities, are located in Uckfield,
East Sussex, with additional warehousing
and manufacturing facilities both in Sussex
and Yorkshire.
